Our mission, plainly stated
Vanguard exists to publish a serious daily of conservative news and opinion — independent, ad-light, and accountable to its readers.
What we do
We aggregate headlines and excerpts from the most consequential publications on the American and British right. Every aggregated item links straight back to the original publisher with full attribution. We also publish original long-form opinion under the “Opinion” section — argument, not outrage.
Fair-use policy
Vanguard reproduces only what is permitted under the fair-use doctrine and analogous limits in foreign jurisdictions: headline, dek (summary), a short excerpt, and the source's image where available — always with a prominent link to the original article on the publisher's site. We do not reproduce full article text. If you publish a source we link to and would like us to remove or modify any item, write to fairuse@vanguard.exampleand we will respond within 48 hours.
How we make money
From subscribers. Not from ads, not from foundations, not from PACs, and not from native content. A small percentage of premium revenue is set aside each quarter for original reporting projects.
Corrections
We correct quickly and visibly. If you spot an error in our editorial or in our framing of an aggregated item, write to corrections@vanguard.example.
